The world's first mobile app for learning the Cypriot dialect of Greek has been launched in Cyprus.
This week saw the launch of the world's first mobile app dedicated entirely to the Cypriot dialect of Greek .
A platform called Cyprusays gives users anywhere in the world the opportunity to learn and speak this melodic and distinctive Mediterranean language.
The project was founded in Sydney by Iphigenia (Effie) Athanassiou and Constantine (Costas) Athanassiou, both Cypriots from Australia. According to the founders, Cyprusays is more than just a language learning app, but a way to preserve living cultural heritage.
