The first app for learning Cypriot Greek, Cyprusays, has been released.

"A Tribute to Our Roots"
The app was created by Australian-born Cypriot Iphigenia (Effie) Athanassiou and her Sydney-based husband, Constantinos (Costas) Athanassiou . "Cyprusays is more than an app. It's a tribute to our parents, grandparents, and every Cypriot who wants to keep our language alive," said Effie. "We want the new generation to be proud to speak like their families, no matter where they live." Designed primarily for the Cypriot diaspora , the app preserves the melody and rhythm of the living dialect through recordings of native speakers . It features interactive lessons on idioms, everyday situations, and even the world's first guide to reading and pronunciation of the Cypriot Greek alphabet.
